Dr. Adler joined Brault in 2018 as Vice President of Practice Improvement, after more than a decade as a practicing physician and as an executive with midsize and large physician groups. As part of his leadership role with Brault, he is directly responsible for physician training in documentation and EMR usage. He also consults with clients on issues related to provider productivity, malpractice risk mitigation, and hospital relationship management.

He is a board-certified emergency physician, nationally-recognized expert in documentation and reimbursement, and a distinguished author – featured in ACEP Now, EP Monthly, and in the Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Adler has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors and as Councilor for Maryland ACEP, and has been a Physician Auditor for Medicaid in Maryland. And, in addition to his full-time role with Brault, Dr. Adler also serves as Assistant ED Medical Director for the MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, reviews malpractice claims for the U.S. Army, and is part of the Novitas / Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee.
