Welcome Letter

Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to the Music City, and the Country Music Capital of the World! Once again, your Conference Planning Committee has set the stage for an informative and entertaining Solutions Summit.

We have two nationally known speakers to inspire and challenge us. Joseph Grenny is a four-time New York Times best-selling author, including a book many of you have probably read – Crucial Conversations. He’s worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies to design and implement change for improved business performance.

Noah Galloway will be our keynote speaker on Monday. Noah is a former US Army soldier who lost his arm and leg while serving in the Iraq War. His injuries have not stopped him from being an extreme sports enthusiast, author and a motivational speaker. You may have seen Noah as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, where he finished in third place. These gentlemen will challenge and inspire us as we move forward into 2020 and beyond.

You will see familiar faces and new ones all of whom are ready to provide you with the latest information and solutions for the ever-changing Emergency Medicine profession.

I would like to thank the members of the Conference Planning Committee for dedicating their time to organize this year’s Summit. When you see Juli Forde, John Holstein, Paul Hudson or Mark Jones, give them your thanks for their work.

I hope you remembered to bring your dancing shoes!

Sincerely,

Iva Lee Clement

Chair, Conference Planning Committee
